Making a film like Sye Raa is not easy and realising this, producer Ram Charan has given director Surender Reddy, a free hand in terms of both budget and deadlines.While asking Surender to spend according to the requirements of the script, Cherry has reportedly told the latter not to worry even if the final budget turns out to be around Rs 200 crore.
What’s more, he asked Surender not to worry about meeting deadlines and focus on a quality output.Cherry believes that a film like Sye Raa needs to be made with extreme care and it is important, not to put undue producer on the director.
Also, one need not worry about release time as such a film will attract the audiences in any season. The experience of working on Magadheera and Rangasthalam seems to have come in handy for Cherry in making these decisions.
