Akkineni Nagarjuna is now facing problem from the Lok Ayukta, a quasi judicial body, in connection with a land encroachment case. Kathireddy Venkat Reddy, a representative of non-governmental organisation “Janam Kosam”, filed a petition in the Lok Ayukta, alleging that Nagajuna had encroached upon Tammari Cheruvu, a water body at Madhapur, to construct a hotel by name “N-Convention Centre.”
The Lok Ayukta admitted the petition and issued notices to Ranga Reddy district collector and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Commissioner, directing them to submit a report before July 31st. So, now we will see how Nag will react.
