CBN not invited for inaguration of NTR statue

TDP MPs led by Nama Nageswara Rao would be meeting the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar at 1130 am on Monday.

They sought the appointment, to formally lodge the party’s protest for not sending invitation to the party president Chandra Babu Naidu for the unveiling of the statue of late N T Rama Rao in the Parliament premises. Though union minister Purandareswari informed Naidu, TDP feels that the party should be officially invited as it was the statue of the founder of the party. It is learnt that officially invitations were sent only to Nandamuri family members.
