Nirav Modi, owner of one of the biggest global diamond jewelry businesses, has come under the radar of Indian investigative agencies, after Punjab National Bank (PNB) filed a complaint against him, accusing him of scamming a massive amount of Rs 11,400 Cr. Fearing the investigation, he has reportedly escaped the country last month.
Modi is a very big name in Bollywood as well. He has had association with some of the Top league actresses of Bollywood, who worked as his business’ brand ambassadors and promoted his products at national and international level.
Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Kapoor, Lisa Haydon are some of his illustrious clientele from Bollywood. In fact, Priyanka Chopra, who became the brand ambassador for Nirav Modi in 2017, even sued him for allegedly defrauding her.
Reports suggest that these celebs may face questioning regarding their association with Modi.
