Centre releases funds to Telugu States

Filmmaker Koratala Siva, who once enjoyed a perfect success streak with four consecutive blockbusters, saw a setback with Acharya, which broke his winning run. He later made a strong return by collaborating with Jr NTR on the big-budget film Devara, which performed well at the box office but also sparked mixed discussions about his storytelling approach.

Following the success, expectations naturally shifted toward Devara 2. However, the sequel has been in development limbo for a while, with nearly a year and a half passing since the first part’s release. Despite initial buzz and speculation about shelving, the makers have confirmed that the project is still on the cards, though it has yet to officially go on floors.

Meanwhile, reports suggest an interesting development in Koratala Siva’s production plans. He is expected to present the sequel of Ajay Bhupathi’s Mangalavaram, which is being developed as Mangalavaram 2. The project was earlier announced by director Ajay Bhupathi during the release of the first part, but was delayed due to his current film Srinivasa Mangapuram.

Now, Ajay Bhupathi is expected to complete his ongoing project and then move on to the sequel. The film is reportedly being bankrolled by Sudhakar Mikkilineni, the producer of Devara, while Koratala Siva is said to be associated as a presenter, actively contributing to script and production work. He had earlier presented Krishnamma, which did not perform well at the box office.

With this new collaboration gaining attention, speculation has grown that Devara 2 might face further delays as Koratala shifts focus toward Mangalavaram 2. This development has left NTR fans curious and slightly concerned about the actual timeline of the much-awaited sequel.
