Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is usually seen with a serious demeanor, rarely smiling in public, as he is often perceived as a man on a mission.
However, at the mega DSC Utsav in Amaravati earlier this evening, the Chief Minister was all smiles while interacting with his son and IT Minister Nara Lokesh.
Lokesh made headlines by announcing the DSC nominations in front of a massive crowd, continuing the legacy of Sr. NTR and Chandrababu, who have historically been associated with filling DSC positions. A particularly memorable moment occurred on stage when Chandrababu and Lokesh shared a candid exchange, both smiling warmly. During this interaction, Lokesh bent down on one knee as Chandrababu appeared to guide him on some key point.
The TDP has a strong historic connection with DSC events, having conducted 14 drives and successfully filled 2 lakh jobs. In contrast, the previous Jagan-led government struggled to hold even a single successful DSC drive, while the NDA government accomplished this milestone in under 18 months.
As Lokesh aptly remarked, “TDP ante DSC… DSC ante TDP.” Last night’s event clearly showcased the enduring bond between the party and the DSC legacy.
