Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is taking the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) operations to the next level, showing strong intent to drive investments and generate employment. In a clear indication of his hands-on approach, Naidu has been conducting regular meetings with officials to streamline investment channels and track job creation in real time.

Last evening, he chaired the sixth SIPB meeting at the Secretariat — a crucial session that brought great news for the state’s unemployed youth. The meeting resulted in the approval of ₹33,000 crore worth of investments spread across 19 major projects. These initiatives are expected to create over 35,000 jobs in key sectors including energy, tourism, IT, and electronics.

Since the reactivation of SIPB, six meetings have been held, leading to the approval of 76 projects valued at a staggering ₹4,95,796 crore. But Naidu is not merely focused on announcements. He has directed officials to establish live dashboards that track the progress of each approved project and monitor on-ground implementation.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of top-level oversight, urging leaders to stay involved in every phase of the investment and employment initiatives to ensure tangible results. His proactive governance model aims not just to attract investments but to deliver meaningful outcomes for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
