TDP spokesperson Buddha Venkanna was arrested by AP police a short while back. This comes after Buddha Venkanna warned YCP troops he is ready to kill them, or get himself killed if they try to get anywhere near TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
The police claimed that Venkanna’s comments have maligned interests, and he is provoking social riots with the same. He was arrested on this count.
Now, TDP supremo, Chandrababu has condemned AP Police’s arrest of Buddha Venkanna. He alleged that the police department is operating based on the vested interests of the government of Andhra Pradesh. He called out the police officials for arresting Venkanna.
After a brief period, the political climate in Andhra Pradesh has started to heaten up again.
