Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has for the first time voiced his unhappiness in public over the residuary state not getting any central aid although the same was assured in the AP Reorganization Act and also the central ministers.
Naidu spoke to the media in Delhi on Friday evening after his marathon meeting with 11 ministers, including PM Narendra Modi right from the time he had landed in Delhi on Thursday. But the outcome seems to be dismal from his words.
Chandrababu reportedly said that it has been more than six months since the bifurcation of the state. Yet, till date, none of the promises was honoured and said he reminded all minister that nothing has been delivered to AP.
Babu spoke about special status, special package for industries, Hudhud aid promise, assurance of Railway zone, funds for capital and a host of other issues. Well, this doesn’t come as a surprise because many political experts warned beforehand about it and wanted the bifurcation to stop.
