Chandrababu Naidu, the Telugu Desam Party chief and incumbent Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, recently reflected on his political journey at an event held in memory of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Addressing a large public gathering, Babu contrasted the “golden period” of Indian politics, when he worked alongside legendary leaders like Vajpayee, with the current scenario, which he described as dealing with “Chillara rajakeeyalu” (petty politics) and bratty politicians.
His statement subtly alluded to the personal and political challenges he endured during the last five years under the YCP regime, including abusive remarks directed at him and his family.
Despite facing such hardships, Chandrababu emphasized that public welfare and the interests of the broader sections of society remain his primary focus, highlighting his commitment to meaningful governance over personal grievances.
