Speaking at a recent event, opposition leader and Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu said that it is sad to see that the Andhra Pradesh government – run by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy – doesn’t care about auto drivers, rickshaw pullers and hamalis.
He said that the government is not helping these people out during the current crisis, and it is not even offering its condolences to these people.
Chandrababu said that Jagan should learn from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, who reinstalled Amma Canteens, saying that it is not right to stop Amma Canteens, as those canteens serve lakhs of people on a daily basis.
He said that Stalin is running these canteens in the state with Jayalalithaa’s picture on these canteens, which is a symbol of the political ethics and political culture of the country.
