Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest film, Daaku Maharaaj, is off to a stellar start at the box office. Released today, the movie has been receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences in both the Telugu states and overseas markets like the USA. At the blockbuster press meet held in Hyderabad, producer Naga Vamshi shared exciting news about the film’s future. When asked about the possibility of a sequel, he revealed that the team is instead planning a prequel. Inspired by a significant statue featured in the movie, the makers aim to craft a compelling story for the prequel, with plans to introduce a new hero for the lead role.

Interestingly, Nandamuri Balakrishna may not reprise his role in this prequel, as per Naga Vamshi’s statement. Directed by KS Ravindra and featuring a power-packed soundtrack by Thaman, Daaku Maharaaj has not only captivated audiences but also paved the way for intriguing storytelling possibilities in its universe.
