TDP Supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has issued a firm warning to his party MLAs, cautioning that those acting against the interests of the party and the government risk expulsion. “A few of you may remain as one-time MLAs,” he stated emphatically during a recent teleconference with ministers, MPs, and MLAs, held to mark the completion of one year of the TDP-led NDA government in the state.

Naidu made it clear that he is closely monitoring the performance reports of all party leaders and assured that non-performers will not be spared. “The future of the party and the people cannot be compromised for the sake of a few leaders,” he asserted.

The TDP chief also announced plans to personally meet each MLA to discuss their strengths and weaknesses in detail. Dedicated and hardworking leaders will be rewarded with better opportunities and recognition, he promised.

He advised first-time MLAs to shed overconfidence and reckless behavior. “The public voted unanimously for the TDP, weary of the previous government’s misrule. It’s essential to live among the people and build closer ties with them,” Naidu urged.

Highlighting the importance of public outreach, Naidu revealed that regular surveys are conducted to assess the connection between party leaders and the electorate. He cautioned everyone to avoid controversies and accusations, warning that the entire government could face backlash due to the missteps of a few MLAs.

In his concluding remarks, Naidu stressed the need for unity and responsibility, urging all elected representatives to ensure that such damaging situations do not arise and hamper the party’s image and governance.
