The Andhra Pradesh government has rolled out one of its flagship welfare initiatives, the Auto Driverla Sevalo program, which officially commenced today. The scheme was launched by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Nara Lokesh.

A unique highlight of the launch was the attire of the three key leaders. In a symbolic gesture, Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh wore auto driver uniforms and actively interacted with auto drivers, sitting among them and sharing their concerns. This heartfelt interaction between the state’s top political leaders and the common people immediately drew wide attention.

Under this scheme, the government is directly depositing ₹15,000 into the accounts of every auto and maxi cab driver in Andhra Pradesh. With an allocation of ₹435 crore, nearly 2.9 lakh drivers are set to benefit from the initiative.

Other prominent leaders, including Bonda Uma, Health Minister Sathyakumar Yadav, and MP Kesineni Chinni, also participated in the event, making it a significant moment in AP’s welfare-driven governance.
