In what can be a direct death threat, Somu Veerraju warned AP CM Chandrababu Naidu of “seeing” another “Alipiri incident”. Back in October 2003, an attempt was made to kill then CM Chandrababu Naidu in Alipri on the Tirumala ghat road. A landmine was blast then targeting Naidu’s motorcade.
Recalling the incident, Somu Veerraju said Chandrababu could “see” yet another “incident” like Alipiri. He further stated that the coming year will be much difficult to AP. Keeping the issues under the wraps, Somu said BJP will teach a fitting lesson.
Somu Veerraju didn’t spare Chandrababu’s brother-in-law and actor-politician Balakrishna. Somu Veerraju demanded arrest of Balakrishna who criticised Modi. BJP leaders have met Governor ESL Narasimhan and sought his intervention in the arrest of Balakrishna. Veerraju said all that was taken place in front of Chandrababu Naidu who had sit on one-day deeksha (Dharma Poratam) on his birthday yesterday.
