It looks like London has turned into a preferred stop for Telugu politicians lately. YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is known to visit the city quite often, having developed a special fondness for it. In fact, he was there just a couple of weeks ago.
Now, it’s Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s turn to head to London. The CM is currently on a personal trip with his family, taking a short break from his administrative responsibilities.
However, even during this private visit, Chandrababu hasn’t stepped away from his larger vision. Staying true to his reputation for productivity, he has combined personal time with professional purpose.
According to reports, Chandrababu recently met Chris Fitzgerald, International Director of Octopus Energy, in London. During their meeting, he invited the company to invest in Andhra Pradesh’s renewable energy sector, highlighting vast opportunities in clean energy, smart grids, and data analytics, especially in Amaravati and Visakhapatnam.
The contrast between the two leaders’ visits couldn’t be clearer. While Jagan’s London trips often remain private with little information about official engagements, Chandrababu continues to advance Andhra Pradesh’s development goals even during personal travel.
