Talented composer Thaman is known for his openness and many of his friends often hail him for the positivity and progressive thinking he has. That’s the reason he became a darling of everyone, especially some star heroes go only for him all the time.
In a chat, Thaman revealed that actually he is doing more films and able to bag biggies because he charges 50% less remuneration what other competitors of him charge out there. “I charge half of what they take and finishing whole of re-recording in Hyderabad only. Only due to lack of musicians here, I go to Chennai for recording songs, else we finish everything here” says Thaman, adding, “My producers are quite happy with that”.
About DSP: “Without competition, we can’t succeed and survive in this industry. I known DSP is on top form and will check out for his work all the time. I’ve worked with him on films like Ready, Bommarillu and nine other films as programmer. Though we don’t speak on phone, he wished me on my birthday through Twitter and I do the same” Thaman stresses.
He further explains, “I don’t believe in No1 and No2 game, but I will stay neutral and let god take care of everything”. In the wake of Thaman’s films like Venky Mama and Prathiroju Pandage turning super hits, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo audio turning out to be a blockbuster, his is quite ecstatic.
