After a long hiatus, the ever-reigning Queen of Tollywood, Anushka Shetty, is all set to make a grand comeback with the high-octane action entertainer ‘Ghaati’, directed by the visionary filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi. Produced on a massive scale by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, the film also features stellar performances by Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao, and Jagapathi Babu.

Speaking to the media, Krish expressed his delight at being able to cast the actors he envisioned for the film. Contrary to the rumors about Anushka being selective about projects, the director revealed that she was the very first choice for the role and immediately accepted it. Highlighting the significance of the supporting cast, Krish described Jagapathi Babu’s role as a CBI officer as central to the narrative, while Vikram Prabhu perfectly embodies the character of Desiraju, bringing the story of the Eastern Ghaats to life on the big screen.

Krish emphasized that while the film boasts intense action sequences and flawless performances across the board, it is ultimately Anushka’s ‘Natavishwaroopam’ that anchors the story. He confidently stated that ‘Ghaati’ is poised to be a cinematic phenomenon, calling it a “volcanic explosion of a story.” The director also lauded the technical team for their invaluable contributions and shared his excitement about experiencing the audience’s response on 5th September, when the movie releases in multiple languages on a grand scale.

With its compelling story, breathtaking action, and powerhouse performances, ‘Ghaati’ promises to be one of the most talked-about films of the year.
