After scoring the biggest blockbuster of his career with Sankranthiki Vasthunam earlier this year, director Anil Ravipudi is gearing up for his next ambitious project. This time, none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi will be taking the lead in what promises to be a high-energy entertainer. The film will have its grand launch on Ugadi, marking an auspicious beginning.
Earlier, reports suggested that the elegant Aditi Rao Hydari was the frontrunner to play the female lead. However, the latest buzz hints that Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is also in contention for the role. The makers are currently in discussions with both actresses, and an official confirmation is expected soon.
Interestingly, both Aditi and Parineeti recently tied the knot—Aditi with actor Siddharth and Parineeti with politician Raghav Chadha. Initially, there were speculations that Anil Ravipudi’s script would not feature a romance track or a heroine, but those rumors have now been debunked.
Produced by Sahu Garapati, the film is said to be a complete comedy entertainer, with Ravipudi aiming to bring back Chiru’s vintage charm. The Megastar will be seen in a lively role as Shankar Vara Prasad, and the movie is set to hit theaters during Sankranthi 2026, promising another festive blockbuster.
