The Tollywood Film Industry suffered unfortunate incidents with two personalities, who travelled with the industry for quite some time, passed away. A day after legendary film critic Gudipudi Srihari breathed his last, an ace film editor passed away. The industry is mourning the death of the legendary film editor.
The ace editor who left the industry and pushed it into deep sorrow is Gautham Raju, who has the credit of editing more than 800 films across the languages. As per the media reports, Raju garu has been suffering from health issues for quite some time. The members of the industry are mourning the demise of the legendary film editor.
The undisputed king of Tollywood, Megastar Chiranjeevi who shares a good bonding with Gautham Raju has come forward to lend a helping hand to the editor’s family.
The Mega hero has sent a sum of Rs 2 lakhs to his family. On his behalf, Tammareddy Bharadwaj went to Mr Raju’s house and handed over the money.
Tammareddy Bharadwaj told Gautham Raju’s family that Chiranjeevi assured possible help and asked them to stay strong in the tough time. Tammareddy Bharadwaj consoled the family members, who were crying their hearts out.
Earlier today, Chiranjeevi expressed his grief over Gautham Raju’s demise and said, Gautham Raju has worked with him for a few films. He is a soft spoken person, but his editing skills speak for himself, Chiranjeevi said in his Tweet.
Gowtham Raju is believed to have been suffering from a few health issues. He was taken to the hospital after his health worsened. He was 68, when he breathed his last.
His editing skills in Balakrishna’s Aditya 369 earned him a star status and he became a hot favourite. Even when youngsters entered, he worked for a few hit films. He was born in 1954 in Tamil Nadu.
After the unfortunate news of his demise broke out, the members of the film industry expressed their shock over his demise and remembered the association they have with him. From veteran heroes like Megastar Chiranjeevi to star heroes like Ram Charan and NTR, many mourned his death.
