The ongoing dispute between Telugu film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi has taken a new turn, with fan groups becoming actively involved. On Sunday, Chiranjeevi fans from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana convened an emergency meeting at a hotel near the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank in Hyderabad. The primary agenda was to discuss filing a police complaint against Balakrishna at the Jubilee Hills Police Station.
The fans reportedly planned a two-phase strategy: the first complaint to be lodged immediately at Jubilee Hills PS, followed by similar complaints across 300 police stations in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
However, Chiranjeevi is said to have personally intervened after learning about the fans’ proposed actions. The actor urged his supporters not to pursue such measures, advising them against escalating tensions further.
While this intervention has temporarily paused the fans’ legal strategy, the controversy surrounding the incident continues to generate significant discussion and debate within the Telugu film community.
