Tollywood icons Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna personally met Hyderabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar to applaud the Police Department for its decisive action against movie piracy. Their visit came soon after the arrest of Inmadi Ravi, the operator of the notorious piracy website Ibomma.
Chiranjeevi expressed his satisfaction, praising the Police for “acting smartly to dismantle the network of a dangerous individual,” and highlighted how piracy has long harmed the film industry while normalizing illegal viewing habits.
Nagarjuna extended heartfelt thanks, appreciating the Hyderabad Police for “swiftly catching the culprit.” He noted that their visit represented the collective gratitude of the entire Telugu and Indian cinema fraternity toward Sajjanar and his team.
Both stars underscored the importance of watching films only in theaters as a key measure to fight piracy.
