Megastar Chiranjeevi seems to have a special regard for director Bobby. After delivering the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya, Bobby has clearly earned the actor’s trust and admiration. Adding to this professional bond is a personal connection — Bobby’s father shares a close relationship with Chiranjeevi, which has further strengthened their rapport.
Giving priority to Bobby’s next venture, Chiranjeevi has decided to set aside director Srikanth Odela’s film for the moment and begin work on Bobby’s project in the final months of this year.
At present, Chiranjeevi is busy with two ongoing films — Vishwambhara and an untitled project with Anil Ravipudi. Vishwambhara is likely to hit theaters for Deepavali, while the Ravipudi film is being planned for a Sankranthi or post-Sankranthi release.
Bobby’s new film with Chiranjeevi is expected to go on floors later this year, with regular shooting scheduled to commence in January.
Known for his penchant for big budgets and lavish production values, Bobby sometimes raises concerns among producers. However, Chiranjeevi’s proactive involvement in setting up this project once again shows his strong support and confidence in the director.
