Megastar Chiranjeevi, donning the Ayyappa maala, participated in the Ekta Diwas 2K Run organized by the Hyderabad Police and took the opportunity to address a critical modern issue — the misuse of Deepfake and AI technologies. The actor praised the event for embodying Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision of unity and national integrity, values that continue to shape India today.
Speaking to the media, Chiranjeevi commended the Hyderabad Cyber Police, led by Commissioner CV Anand Sajjanar, for their proactive approach in tackling cybercrimes. He also revealed that the government is working towards introducing stricter laws to curb Deepfake videos and online abuse.
The Megastar emphasized that while technology has revolutionized human life, its dark side must be controlled through awareness, ethics, and legal accountability. He urged citizens to use digital tools responsibly and avoid misusing technology for attention or malicious fun.
On the professional front, Chiranjeevi is currently busy filming his Sankranti 2026 release, “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu,” directed by Anil Ravipudi.
