Chiranjeevi’s Letter on Balakrishna Remarks Faces Media Scrutiny

Some sections of the media have questioned the authenticity of Chiranjeevi’s letter condemning Balakrishna’s assembly comments, citing the fact that the actor did not post it on his official Twitter account. However, this alone is not sufficient reason to doubt its legitimacy.

Former Andhra Pradesh minister Perni Nani confirmed that he had verified the letter with Chiranjeevi’s PRO before holding his press meet, receiving assurance that the letter is genuine. Furthermore, had the letter been fake, Chiranjeevi would likely have issued a clarification by now.

Critics argue that Chiranjeevi could have released the letter earlier, particularly when his brother, Pawan Kalyan, made similar statements prior to the 2024 elections. This line of reasoning appears to be an attempt to protect Balakrishna, suggesting that Chiranjeevi’s response was selectively timed.

The controversy has had repercussions for both the TDP and Jana Sena, while also affecting Balakrishna’s public image. Past incidents and his mental health certificate have resurfaced in the discussion. Many social media users and YouTubers have highlighted his erratic speeches, drawing attention to the negative impact of his assembly remarks.
