Vishwambhara, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s highly anticipated socio-fantasy film, was initially planned for a Sankranti 2025 release. However, six months have passed since then, and there is still no official clarity on the film’s new release date. At one point, even discussions around Vishwambhara had gone quiet, reportedly due to dissatisfaction with the film’s output.
The production team decided to dedicate more time to VFX work, which led to multiple postponements. Even the final shooting schedule is yet to be completed, but reliable sources indicate that preparations are now underway for the concluding phase of filming.
The plan is to simultaneously complete the shoot while continuing post-production, especially the VFX-heavy portions. One key highlight of this final schedule is an item song, which is expected to grab major attention.
Initially, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela was rumored to feature in the special number. However, the latest buzz suggests that Mouni Roy has been finalized instead. This song will mark her Tollywood debut, although Mouni is already a familiar face to Telugu audiences through her work in popular Hindi TV serials and films.
Best known for her role in the Naagin series and her villainous character in Brahmastra, Mouni Roy enjoys strong popularity across India. Her presence in Vishwambhara is expected to boost the film’s appeal, especially with the mass audience.
There’s been a lot of buzz recently around this item number, with reports stating that a special tune has already been composed, and it will stand out as one of the highlights of the film.
