Soon after the Kapu agitation took a violent turn and gained everyone’s attention, Congress’ MP Chiranjeevi wrote an open letter to AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu asking him to facilitate reservations for Kapus at the earliest. Chiru also condemned Babu’s negligence over the impending issues that Kapus are facing.
Finally, Babu broke his silence and reacted to Chiru’s letter following the cabinet meeting yesterday. Lashing out at Chiru in his style, Babu questioned Chiru in turn asking him where he was all these days. Babu asked Chiru about what he did for Kapus as an MP and what his Congress party did for Kapus in its 10 year reign.
Babu also suggested Chiru not to provoke Kapus and asked him to refrain from resorting to caste based politics. Speaking about Tuni violence, Babu said that he was quite worried and tense during those few horrific hours.
