Malayali beauty Malavika Mohanan made her debut in Mollywood a few years back but she got a lot of fame after brief role in ‘Petta’ and being the female lead in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Master’. The dusky siren was expected to make her debut in Telugu long back but her project with Vijay Deverakonda got cancelled due to unknown reasons. She acted beside Dhanush in ‘Maaran’ which did not get a positive talk.
She is currently the heroine in Prabhas’ ‘Raja Deluxe’ which is being directed by Maruthi. Apart from these, she is coming up with a soft yet bold love story titled ‘Christy’. The trailer came out recently and the plot instantly reminds people of ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ were the hero is two years younger than the heroine. This sub plot is not explored completely in that film but the team of ‘Christy’ seems to have focused a lot on it.
Malavika plays the role of a beautiful woman as expected and she is loved by a youngster played by Mathew Thomas. He calls her sister too but ends up falling for her. The lovely and pleasant visuals are a major attraction and the lead actors did a fantastic job. Malaika looked wonderful with minimal makeup and she has a magnetic charm about her.
Directed by Alvin Henry, this movie’s music is composed by Govindh Vasantha while Sajai Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan are the producers. This interesting love story will be hitting the screens on 17th February and the movie lovers are eagerly waiting for it.
