Recently a clash was started for platforms between AP and Telangana RTC buses and the problem has reached to a greater extent. On one side the Vijayawada bus depot is making restrictions to all the Telangana buses to a single platform and there are around 80 platforms. On the other hand, Miryalaguda and Mallepalli bus stops have only few AP buses platforms.
The Telangana State Roadways Transport Corporation has recruited new staffs to park AP buses in other platforms which are allocated for them. This is the reason behind the fight between APSRTC and TSRTC. Many buses move from Vijayawada to Telangana and there is a complaint that AP buses collect more fare than Telangana.
People have started to use more Telangana buses as it is cheaper than AP bus services. So the Vijayawada bus depot management has limited Telangana buses and the issue has raised problem with TSRTC. So immediately Kodada bus depot has restricted AP buses to one platform.
The bus depot was operating without any passengers most of the time. Mallepalli bus stations appointed special people to stop AP Buses Park in all the stations, which in turn affected the revenue of APSRTC, between Vijayawada and Hyderabad. The problem has become a common problem between two transport department and the problem will be solved when some higher officials deal in the regard.
