CM KCR to take on Modi in BJP’s Stronghold?

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is not leaving any stone unturned to bring an alternative force. He is also making sure that his war doesn’t end up like the previous one which was restricted to just a statement. The TRS boss who is at war with the BJP is on a spree of meeting like-minded leaders.

After meeting Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, KCR had shifted his focus to the national capital Delhi. The Telangana Chief Minister is on a three-day stay in Delhi. During the same, he is ex[pected to meet a few leaders over his alternative front plans.

Media reports are abuzz that KCR is in plans to dent Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity in his parliamentary constituency and for the same KCR is reportedly eyeing the much-awaited general elections in Uttar Pradesh, which are underway in the most populated state in the country.

To take on the mighty BJP, KCR is likely to join the Uttar Pradesh election campaign and might lead the anti-BJP campaign in the temple city Varanasi. As it is represented by Narendra Modi, KCR is reported to be of the opinion that the next phase of elections might be a good platform.

However, there is no confirmation on this. Once the Chief Ministers of Telangana and national capital Delhi come together to hold talks to come up with plans on how to speed up things on bringing an alternative front, we might expect some announcement.

Given the differences, the Delhi-based Aam Aadmi Party has with the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to extend his support to KCR in the way to reach the big dream.

As of now, the likes of Maharashtra CM, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin have reportedly supported KCR and said that he will have their support. With KCR working hard on his dream, we might expect more leaders to join the list of his supporters to take on the mighty BJP.

Earlier, posters wishing KCR on his birthday were erected in Varanasi and Gujarat, the state ruled by BJP. Gujarat has been a strong hold of the saffron party over the years.
