Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, was initially slated for a March 2026 release, but the makers have now shifted the plan to June 2026. Despite the new announcement, the film is still undergoing reshoots aimed at improving the final output.

However, reports suggest that Ram Charan is not entirely comfortable with locking a release month while the shooting schedule remains uncertain. Concerns are said to be rising that frequent delays or lack of clarity could affect the film’s momentum and overall buzz, and his concern appears reasonable given the scale of the project.

On the production side, the team feels it is necessary to communicate at least an estimated release window to keep distribution and exhibition planning on track. The film industry ecosystem often depends on such timelines for smooth scheduling, even if final adjustments are made later.

Earlier updates hinted at a pending item number and an additional song sequence, and now reports also indicate that certain portions are being reshot. With these ongoing changes, it remains to be seen whether Peddi will indeed meet its June 2026 release target.

The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with music composed by A. R. Rahman. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, the Ram Charan starrer continues to generate strong buzz despite the uncertainty around its final release date.
