Narasapuram MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju’s lawyer sent contempt of court notices to the Guntur Urban SP on learning that he had ordered the escort to bring Raghurama immediately after his discharge. MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju was released on bail as per the orders of the Supreme Court. However, the court directed him to submit the bonds within ten days of his release.
Raghurama’s lawyer said that sending an escort to bring Raghurama immediately after his discharge is against the orders of the Supreme Court. Therefore, notices are being issued under contempt of court to Guntur Urban SP. Notices were sent from Hyderabad to the Guntur Urban SP office. Raghurama’s lawyer said the surety petition was filed in the trial court as per the Supreme Court orders.
