Megastar’s highly anticipated 151st film, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ landed in a controversy on the very day of title and motion poster launch.
It is known that Sye Raa is the biopic of Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Soon after the film’s title was announced as ‘Sye Raa’, the extant Uyyalawada family members have reportedly lamented it and questioned how could the makers not name the film after the freedom fighter when they are actually making a film based on his story.
They are planning to approach the makers with the demand of title change. They are even contemplating on filing a complaint if the makers don’t concede to their demand. Let’s see how Chiru and Charan negotiate with the displeased Uyyalawada family members.
Sye Raa was chosen as the title to bring universal appeal to the film.
