The much-awaited pre-release musical event of Coolie – The Power House, featuring superstar Rajinikanth, has been officially postponed. Originally set to be a high-octane celebration in Mumbai, the event was planned as a tribute to cinema, music, and art, drawing immense buzz from fans and media alike.

An inside source revealed that the event was expected to be star-studded, with appearances by Anirudh Ravichander, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nagarjuna, and Shruti Haasan. “It was going to be a spectacular night,” the source shared. “Everyone was geared up for a live celebration, but scheduling conflicts threw a wrench in the plans.”

Reportedly, several key cast members faced date clashes, making it difficult to bring everyone together. “Rajinikanth sir wasn’t expected to attend the event, but the rest of the team was. Unfortunately, we’re now waiting on a new date,” the insider added.

Another major reason for the postponement is the film’s race against time in post-production. The source explained, “Lokesh and his team are working non-stop in the mixing studio. We’re down to the final four days before delivery, and the entire crew is focused on wrapping things up smoothly.”

Coolie boasts a powerhouse ensemble cast featuring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, and Rachita Ram. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, the film is set for a massive theatrical release on August 14, where it will go head-to-head with War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.
