For the last couple of days, angry netizens on social media have been blazing with severe protests against the insensible sub inspector Pradeep Kumar from Lucknow, who attacked a 65-year old man named Krishna Kumar and broke his only source of income, a hindi typewriter, on which he types various kinds of documents earning a meager Rs. 50.

Krishna Kumar, a native of West Bengal, moved to Lucknow and he has been sitting on the footpath in front of the Grand Post Office for the last 35 years and earning his livelihood off his typewriter by working 10 hours a day. On Saturday, the SI objected to Krishna Kumar working from the footpath and asked him to vacate.

Even though Krishna Kumar tried to explain, the ruthless cop started banging his typewriter and destroyed it completely. The incident was captured on a camera and the images went viral in no time, inviting severe ire of Indians from all over. Bowing down to the pressure, the UP CM Akhilesh Yadav quickly ordered the suspension of the SI.

Not stopping here, the police department, which otherwise was targeted for the SI’s rude act, showed their kind side and bought a new typewriter and presented it to Krishna Kumar and told him that he can freely work from the same footpath and that nobody would object him in the future.
