Tollywood actress Hamsa Nandini has opened about her struggle when her family, including her father Vinay Bartake (65), uncle Sunil Bartake (66) and grandmother Nirmala (90), tested positive for the Covid-19 recently.
The actress said finding beds for the three in a hospital was a tough task for her as she called up over 50 COVID hospitals but couldn’t get beds. She even tried getting a doctor for home treatment, but it was not possible too.
After a couple of days, she managed to admit them to a hospital, where she had spent nearly six hours doing the paperwork for the admission in the hospital.
The doctors suggesting her father move to the ICU made her collapsed. The doctors recommended Remdesivir injections and somehow, she got them from Hyderabad through one of her friends.
Now, the condition of three patients is improving. However, she’s now trying to buy oxygen concentrators as a safety measure for the three at home.
