Crisis in MAA: Chiru Angry On Naresh?

Crisis after crisis is rocking the Movie Artistes Association (MAA). Ever since Naresh took over the reigns of MAA from Sivaji Raja, the crisis continued and even worsened. Not long ago, during the inauguration of MAA Dairy 2020, Chiranjeevi, Murali Mohan, Krishnam Raju, Mohan Babu and other big wigs of Telugu film fraternity tried to patch up and asked the incumbent MAA body to co-exist as one keeping aside the differences.

In fact, Chiru got angry with Rajasekhar at the event when the latter tried to speak about the differences in the MAA. Later, subsequently, hurt Rajasekhar had tendered his resignation to the post of Vice President. Banerjee has then been elevated as Vice President.

Now the crisis in MAA is back with the long leave of President Naresh. Apparently, Naresh has gone on a leave for 41 days halting the works of the MAA. With this act of Naresh, the Disciplinary Committee and the Executive Committee of MAA have called on for an Emergency Meeting and announced Vice President Banerjee as the Acting President of MAA. This decision was taken as per the Bye-laws of the MAA body. Chiranjeevi, Murali Mohan, Krishma Raju and Jayasudha have attended the meeting held today evening at Film Chamber.

Apparently, the members of the MAA have once again complained to Chiranjeevi about Naresh and the way he was “mishandling” the things and alleged him of abusing the power. Chiru too reportedly expressed his anger, disappointment over the function of Naresh. General Secretary Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Hema, Rajeev Kanakala, actor Ali and others have attended the crucial meeting of the MAA.

After Rajasekhar episode, Chiru have decided not to express his opinions, views in front of media. Hence he reportedly expressed his dissent on Naresh within MAA meeting. One has to wait and see, how would Naresh react. Also, reason for Naresh going on such long leave is yet to be made official. Looks like, the ongoing controversy in MAA is not going to end anytime soon.
