The US President, Donald Trump, has earlier expressed his views on the recent Pulwama attack by hoping that things between India and Pakistan would soon sort out. Yesterday, at the Oval Office, White House, he described the present situation between the two countries as ‘very, very bad’.
Trump stated that the US administration is in contact with both the countries since the attack and hoped rivalry would soon end between them. Considering the situation as very bad and dangerous, Trump said that even the US is involved in bringing good relations between India and Pakistan.
He further went on to say that India is currently looking at things strongly as the country has lost 40 brave soldiers. He said the situation is also going to be a very, very delicate balance. The recent Pulwama attacks have caused much more problems between the two countries. The president claimed that the US has definitely improved its amicable levels with Pakistan in the last few months and he is looking forward to meeting Pak’s officials.
‘I stopped paying Pakistan the USD 1.3-billion that we used to pay them,’ he said while believing that Pakistan has taken the advantage of previous presidents and used them.
