In the Telugu film industry, one thing that never seems to change is the constant shuffle of release dates. Nowadays, it’s rare for a film to hit theaters without facing multiple delays. The latest film affected by this trend is “Dacoit.”
Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film has been under scrutiny due to prolonged shoots and repeated postponements, which have led to rising production costs. Originally scheduled for a December 25 release, “Dacoit” has now been pushed to February 2026.
With “Dacoit” stepping out of the December race, producer Ashwini Dutt has quickly announced Roshan Meka’s “Champion” to take the Christmas weekend slot.
Adding to the festive lineup, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is gearing up to release “Tyson Naidu,” directed by Saagar K Chandra of Bheemla Nayak fame. After a modest run with Kishkindhapuri, Bellamkonda is back with this much-anticipated film, which has been in production for over two years and is finally set to hit theaters this December.
