Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao is known for his ‘stories’ and ‘screenplay’ as they say that always a story stands hero in his movies. This time he is coming up with grandfather-grandson chemistry, and his ‘Erra Bassu’ is all set to hit screens this Friday, November 14. After directing 150 films, do you believe that Dasari has something to do for the first time?
Till date, no film of Dasari Narayana Rao has directly released in Overseas market on First Day itself. But with ‘Erra Bassu’, he is going to be in that league of filmmakers whose films release all over the globe on day-one itself. “With my 151st film, I’m achieving this feat of releasing my film directly in USA on first day.
All these years, we used to send my movie’s film-box to America if any friends requested for a special show”, said Dasari. “In a generation 100 years before us and in future generations, the way people look and dress might change but not the relation between grandpa and grandson. Erra Bassu highlights that”, Dasari avers, exuding confidence that overseas audiences will enjoy this emotional drama.
