The deadly coronavirus is ravaging the whole world. The effect of the virus is greatly expanding to every corner leaving no country unaffected. The total Covid-19 cases across the world currently stand at 1,62,02,385 with 6,48,445 casualties. While the active cases are 56,40,708, more than 99,13,232 have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
The US has become the epicentre for the virus with a record number of fresh cases are being reported every day. As of yesterday, 68,212 new cases were reported taking the total number of Covid cases to 43,15,709 so far. More than 1,49,398 people have died of the virus so far.
We are aware that India ranks 3rd in the world in reporting the virus cases with fresh cases pouring every single day. In the last 24 hours, 48,916 new corona positive cases were reported across the country taking the total number to 13,36,861 while 8,49,432 people recovered and discharged from hospitals. The active cases in the country currently stand at 4,56,071 with 31,358 casualties. Experts believe that the figures may go up greatly in the coming days.
