Now, whispers indicate that this “eight-hour workday” issue is also affecting her Bollywood projects, particularly her relationship with director-choreographer Farah Khan. Recently, the two unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation of a fallout. Deepika and Farah have a long history, having first worked together on Om Shanti Om and later on films like Happy New Year. For years, they reportedly shared a cordial working relationship.
The current friction is said to have arisen after Deepika insisted on an eight-hour workday. Farah reportedly commented on this, jokingly questioning whether Deepika could handle such shifts, and the playful banter may have turned into a serious disagreement. Fans are now debating the real reason behind the Instagram unfollows. Interestingly, Farah has also unfollowed Ranveer Singh, although Ranveer continues to follow her.

Previously, Farah had also commented on Deepika’s shooting schedule, noting that Deepika now prefers only eight-hour shoots and often cannot attend other commitments, which seems to have strained their professional relationship further.
