The actress was caught in the middle of a mob as she stepped outside an eatery in Mumbai. Fans went crazy to see her, and a woman tried to pull Padukone’s handbag to sell her tissues.
After the mob surrounded the actress, her security team come to her rescue. This video has gone viral on the Internet. In the viral video, Deepika looked calm and composed with a smile throughout the incident. She looked worried once she recognised that someone was trying to pull her bag. “Ek minute, ek minute…,” she can be heard saying in the video.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen sharing screen space with her husband, Ranveer Singh, in 83. The sports drama is slated to release on June 4.
