
Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone has made history by becoming the first Indian actress to receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Known for her impactful performances across Indian and global cinema, Deepika’s name is now etched among the legends of the entertainment world.
Deepika, who recently made her Telugu debut with the blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD and is set to appear in a high-profile film opposite Allu Arjun, has added another milestone to her stellar career. She has been selected as one of the honorees for the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026, under the Motion Pictures category.
The announcement was made by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in a live event, where the list of honorees was revealed by Walk of Fame inductees Eugenio Derbez and Richard Blade. Deepika will join a celebrated group of global icons including Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Stanley Tucci.
The Class of 2026 features 35 names from around the world and spans five categories — motion pictures, television, live theatre/live performance, recording, and sports entertainment. Every year, honorees are selected from hundreds of nominations, recognizing their outstanding contributions to global entertainment and culture.
