Tamil actor Ravi Mohan, who announced his separation from his wife Aarti in 2024, has broken his silence following a series of public accusations exchanged between the two. Since their split, both Ravi and Aarti have accused each other of emotional abuse. Most recently, Aarti took to social media alleging that Ravi has been an absentee father.

In a detailed official statement, Ravi Mohan strongly refuted the claims, asserting that Aarti has been using their children to gain sympathy and make unfounded allegations against him.

“While our nation faces far greater challenges, it deeply pains me to see personal matters being dragged into the public domain,” Ravi wrote. “Watching my private life reduced to gossip — manipulated without compassion or truth — has been incredibly traumatic. My silence should not be mistaken for weakness. It was my way of surviving. But when my integrity is questioned by those unaware of my struggles, I feel compelled to speak.”

Ravi went on to share his side of the story, saying, “As a survivor of prolonged physical, emotional, financial, and mental abuse, I spent years isolated from even my own parents. I tried every possible way to mend and save my marriage, but the reality became unbearable. Walking away was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made – it wasn’t done lightly. I write this with a heavy heart.”

He firmly denied the allegations against him, stating, “I categorically deny any fabricated claims. I will continue to stand by the truth, with dignity, resilience, and faith in justice. (P.S.: In my heart, the term ‘ex’ was defined the day I left that home – and it will remain so till the end of my days.)”

Addressing rumours of a relationship with Keneesha Francis, Ravi clarified that she was initially just a friend but soon became a vital support in his life. “She has been a source of light and strength. Her presence in my life is not about fame or attention – it comes from pure empathy. If you respect me, I ask that you extend the same respect to Keneesha, both personally and professionally,” he wrote. “No one wrecked my home – it had already fallen apart. I wasn’t ‘once bitten twice shy’ – I was bitten a million times. And I know exactly what I’m doing now.”
