Exciting news is brewing in Tollywood! Star music composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) is reportedly all set to make his acting debut in a lead role. According to insider reports, the energetic composer-turned-actor will be stepping onto the silver screen with Dil Raju’s highly anticipated project, Yellamma.
Earlier, Dil Raju and director Venu Yeldandi had considered popular Tollywood stars like Nani and Nithiin for the lead role. However, scheduling conflicts and other issues caused delays, leaving the project on hold for several months. Recently, rumors suggested that Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas was the frontrunner for the role.
Now, it appears that DSP’s acting debut is almost confirmed with Yellamma, much to the delight of his fans. While DSP has made brief cameo appearances before, including in Pawan Kalyan’s Atharintiki Daaredi, fans have long awaited a full-fledged performance from the music maestro. His energetic stage presence over the years has only heightened expectations.
Director Venu Yeldandi, known for his magical storytelling in his debut film Balagam starring Priyadarshi, is expected to bring the same charm and charisma with DSP in the lead. The audience will finally get to see whether the Rock Star can recreate the magic when Yellamma hits theaters next year.
