There is no denying that Kollywood star Dhanush is one of the finest actors in India. His stellar performance in Vetrimaran’s Tamil film ‘Asuran’ has earned him a lot of recognition.
The latest update is that Dhanush won the Best Actor award at BRICS Film Festival for his performance in Asuran.
BRICS Film Festival was held alongside the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) that came to a close on Sunday. The BRICS festival had films from India, China, Brazil, Russia, and South Africa participating in it.
The action and revenge drama also bagged two National Film Awards in the recently conducted ceremony– one for Best Actor and another for Best Feature Film in Tamil.
On the work front, Dhanush will next be seen in Atrangi Re, The Gray Man and Naane Varuven. He also has a bilingual film with director Sekhar Kammula.
