Dhanush, who recently scored big as a director with Raayan and Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama, is back with yet another engaging project. His new film, titled Idli Kadai (releasing in Telugu as Idli Kottu), brings together emotions, drama, and action in perfect balance.
The film’s trailer was unveiled, showcasing a story rooted in heart and family values. Dhanush plays the son of a small-town idli seller, portrayed by Raj Kiran. From running his father’s modest eatery, he moves abroad to chase his dream as a chef. However, an ego clash with his colleague Arun Vijay shakes things up, leading Dhanush back to his roots where he decides to reopen his father’s idli joint.
The drama, coupled with emotional depth, promises to be the soul of the film, while the right dose of action keeps it gripping. Nithya Menen appears as Dhanush’s wife, and GV Prakash Kumar lends his musical touch to elevate the narrative.
Packed with emotions, family bonding, and a clash of egos, Idli Kadai is all set to hit the screens worldwide on October 1, 2025.
