The recently released Digu Digu Naga song from Naga Shaurya’s Varudu Kavalenu has created a big controversy. Members of Mahila Morcha have filed a case against the makers of the film, saying the song belittles Hindi religion.
The members of BJP Mahila Morcha have stated that the Digu Digu Naga song is against the interests of Hindu religion and also belittled beliefs of Hindu people.
They have lodged a complaint against Ananta Sriram who has penned the lyrics for the song. They claimed that the lyrics mortify the Hindu gods and thus irk those who believe in Hinduism.
The BJP leaders have also filed a complaint against the makers of Varudu Kavalenu. The police will be investigating the case and more details about the the same will be out in the days to come.
Varudu Kavalenu features Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma in the lead roles. It is directed by Lakshmi Soujanya.
