Dil Raju is not involved in the production of Mahesh Babu’s “Sarileru Neekevvaru” nor he’s associated with Allu Arjun’s “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo”. But he is going to suffer if these movies clash directly.Dil Raju bought the rights of all four movies that are hitting the screens this Sankranthi but he is now caught in the crossfire between Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu.
If “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” decides to compete with “Sarileru Neekevvaru” on 11th January, Dil Raju will lose heavily.Though Dil Raju is a production partner in “Sarileru Neekevvaru”, his investment as a distributor in this movie is more than Rs 33 crore. He is releasing the movie in Nizam and Vizag regions.
Similarly, he bought the distribution rights of “Ala Vaikunthapurramlo” for the same region for about Rs 25 crore. If these movies fight on 11th January, openings will split and he will lose money heavily.Moreover, he cannot brush aside Mahesh Babu’s pressure. Dil Raju will produce Mahesh Babu and Vamsi Paidipally’s movie this year.He also has a long friendship with Bunny and Allu Aravind. But both of them feel they are losing out the theaters on 12th January. They blame Dil Raju for not allotting the sufficient screens for their movie on an opening day.
Finally, Dil Raju will hold talks again on Saturday to overcome this problem.
